a million miles in all directions, all at peace
i was a witness to shadows the stars had cast
a lonely visitor, the questions asked

why shouldn't it all be so easy?
shouldn't you be the one to know?
just put out your hand and fix this
build the world without a flaw

can't you see the colours?
this perfect mould
in blue and gold
and all the colours

i was a firestorm, light up the night
burned the dreams of those i don't know, to prove i'm right
I was an offer made, an outstretched hand
to guide the eyes away from what was left so unsaid

and i was so disconnected
so alone
i've heard the stars are calling
and they say 'just go'

yet somehow this intervention
feels so insincere
far beyond comprehension
yet someone called them here?

if the colours are so seductive
what does that mean?
it's all about perspective
what if i couldn't see?
